Where To Buy Zensah Compression Leg Sleeves UPD
Comments: I had shin splints for quite some time, to the point where I struggled to step properly. I took a month off, and my pain persisted. I took a chance on these sleeves, and they have helped substantially. Yes, I do still feel the pain in my shins, but it is not close to what I dealt with before (I'm working on running 50-60 miles a week between 6:30-7:40 pace). I'm working on building back up the miles, but I would recommend these sleeves to anyone who struggled like I did. They made the difference for me.From: Lucas, Los Angeles, CA. July 13, 2021Comments: Amazing, plain and simple. I was having such tremendous pain in my lower calf and along my shins that I would have to take a 3-4 day break after every run, regardless of length. Now I run, Shower, and sleep with these on, and I can run every day if I want. Will be buying more. From: J, NC. August 25, 2014
where to buy zensah compression leg sleeves
Comments: Began a running program from scratch last year & had to give up because of shin splints in week 13 of training. Decided to give running another go this year & educated myself on RICE therapy - using these for compression - I cannot believe what a difference these make! I started week 19 today and I am pain-free! I do run in these, sometimes sleep in them. I have found the Adidas arm/calf sleeves to be nice too, maybe too tight to run in, but good for recovery. From: Sarah, williamsport, PA
Comments: I signed up to run my first half marathon. Once I hit 4 miles in my training I started getting very bad shin splints. Then the routine started, stretching, icing, icy hot, ibuprofen. All of those things helped but until I bought these compression sleeves, I was still in pain. Once I started wearing them, the pain subsided. I ran my half with them on and was completely pain-free.From: Kristie, Salt Lake City, UT
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then compression socks and sleeves were made for you. Frequent travelers, nurses, servers, pregnant women, and athletes are some of the main consumers snatching this tight-fitting legwear off the shelves. As an athlete, I own several compression leg sleeves and socks because they feel good on my sore muscles.
After I wrote a guide exploring the best compression socks, Zensah, a Florida-based company founded in 2004, sent me their compression leg sleeves for free to test out. Below, I will look at what style options are available, how they performed, and whether you should consider picking up a pair.
The L/XL fit great. It hugged my calf snuggly and provided compression from just above the ankles to just below the knee. Like any good compression wear, it took a little bit of elbow grease to get the sleeves on, but they would stay in place.
I like wearing compression leg sleeves rather than compression socks during competition because any slight difference in how my skates fit can lead to blisters and affect my ability to make micro adjustments in my movements. Consequently, I always wear thin socks made of a cotton/polyester/spandex blend. Compression socks are usually thicker and made of other materials. I appreciated that the sleeves allowed me to wear whatever socks I wanted.
Zensah does not appear to give a compression rating for the leg sleeves. I mention this because some consumers find this number useful, though personal fit, construction, and material can cause two sleeves with the same compression rating to feel drastically different.

When I wore the sleeves, my calves felt warmer. It was as if I was wearing a segment of tights. With the exception of a single run where I wore my sandals, I wore minimalist racing flats during every workout.

Since I have been running a lot of miles in Vibrams lately, my calves have been tight and sore, and I figured that this would be the perfect time to try out a compression product. I decided to get in touch with the people at Zensah to see if they would provide me with a pair of calf compression sleeves to review. They graciously offered to send me a pair, and what follows are my thoughts after a few wears.
Peter, I have been doing some longer back to back runs lately, (18 miles Friday, 20 miles on Saturday, and 22 miles on Sunday last week) I wore the 2XU compression sleeves and I believe they saved my calves. I also used recovery socks after two of the runs. My legs seem to stay fresher, no scientific evidence but for me it works. I have done the back to back runs without the sleeves and the fatigue is worse. The sleeves are going with me to Colorado for the TransRockies Run for sure!
Back in Late November I contacted the good folks at Zensah to request a free pair of compression leg sleeves for a product review. Much to my surprise and delight, they responded quickly and sent pair of sleeves right away. 041b061a72
