Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes has seen his Madden 22 coins ranking slip for the second straight week.
The video game series released its latest edition of player news following the week 9 results. Mahomes has lost another point in his overall rating to the 97 mark. He began the year part of the Madden 99 club but fell out after the week 8 game.
Mahomes who shares with Tom Brady the Madden page along with Tom Brady for this year's game, may be dealing with the dreadful "Madden curse" as he's not been able to perform at the level that we're used to seeing him perform.
This year's NFL MVP has thrown 10 interceptions across nine games this season. That's second most of the league. He threw 11 picks the two previous seasons.
Mahomes had a lackluster showing in Sunday's 13-7 defeat to the Green Bay Packers, throwing for just 166 yards, which is a season low. He also had an 54.1 completion percentage with an interception. This was his third straight game that was under 300 passing yards and he hasn't scored more than one touchdown in games since the week 6.
